API Access and Environment URLs

CellPay provides separate environments to support development/testing, and live transaction processing. API consumers must ensure that the appropriate environment is used based on the stage of integration and operational readiness.

Production Environment

The production environment is used for live operations and real financial transactions. All requests executed in this environment result in actual wallet balance deductions and service settlements. Access to the production environment is granted only after successful completion of technical onboarding, compliance verification, and formal approval by CellPay.

API credentials issued for the production environment are unique and must be used exclusively for live transaction processing. Unauthorized or untested use of the production environment may result in transaction failure or service suspension.

Development (Sanbox/Test) Environment

The development (sandbox) environment is provided for integration testing and validation purposes. This environment allows API consumers to test authentication, request and response structures, transaction flows, validation logic, and error handling without impacting real wallet balances or financial records.

Transactions processed in the sandbox environment do not result in actual fund movement. The behavior of sandbox APIs closely mirrors the production environment; however, certain service responses and limits may differ. API consumers are required to complete all functional testing in the sandbox environment before requesting production access.
